The Schofield Family Centre is based in the centre of Loughborough and aims to support the local community. It is home to a number of projects. Information about what happens here at the Schofield Family Centre –

The Schofield Family Centre is home to Small World Nursery, which was started in August 1996 by King’s Church caring for children aged 6wks-11 yrs old in the nurseyr and it’s After-School Club.

Playtime is based at the Schofield Family Centre. Playtime is a Parent and Toddler Group with a vision to strengthen family, build relationships and reach into the community. It has been running at the Schofield Family Centre since 1996 and now has over 80 adults and 100 children attending on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

The basement of the Schofield Family Centre is a Twenty Twenty Lifeskills Centre. Twenty Twenty is a charity that was set up by members of King’s Church in 2007 helping young people, aged 10-19, to overcome challenges in their lives that stop them achieving all they can in school, or once they’ve left school.

The Siblings Service run a Sibling After School Group alternate weeks, helping children who have a sibling with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Asperger’s Syndrome. This service is provided by Ruach Care, more details are available from their website here.

On the top floor of the building there is conference facilities and rooms that are available for community use.
