More About Our Company
The Schofield Family Centre is based in the centre of Loughborough and aims to support the local community. It is home to a number of projects. Information about what happens here at the Schofield Family Centre –
The Schofield Family Centre is home to Small World Nursery, which was started in August 1996 by King’s Church. It is part of an ongoing vision to partner with the Local Authority to meet needs in the Charnwood Community. Our aim is to support families in the important task of raising their children and “helping little people to develop and grow”.
In 2012, the nursery expanded their care to include after-school care for children under the age of 11. Our After-School club collect children from a number of local primary schools and walk them back to the Schofield Family Centre each afternoon during term time and they also run holiday clubs during the school holidays.
Playtime is based at the Schofield Family Centre. Playtime is a Parent and Toddler Group with a vision to strengthen family, build relationships and reach into the community. It has been running at the Schofield Family Centre since 1996 and now has over 80 adults and 100 children attending on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
King’s Church own the Schofield Family Centre and on Sunday mornings they meet here, for more details visit the website by clicking here.
The basement of the Schofield Family Centre is a Twenty Twenty Lifeskills Centre. Twenty Twenty is a charity that was set up by members of King’s Church in 2007. We help young people, aged 10-19, to overcome challenges in their lives that stop them achieving all they can in school, or once they’ve left school.
