Stars Room
Our specially created baby room takes great care in providing a secure, safe, cosy and relaxed family environment for your baby. Our baby room is self-contained and caters for all of our baby’s needs. Through the constant care and support from our highly qualified and experienced practitioners, we aim to create an atmosphere which allows babies to develop and progress at their own pace and grow in confidence.
All rooms follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and all have areas in the environment where the children can relax, explore, use their imagination and also be messy and creative. Our baby room offers an extensive range of toys, equipment and activities whilst providing a safe environment where babies can practice crawling or walking.
Each child will be assigned a key worker who will be your main contact at the nursery. They will work closely with you to find out as much information about your child in order to continue the care within our setting. When you collect your baby, you will receive a completed travel book that will detail the amount of food and drink that has been consumed along with details about sleep times and nappy changes. In addition it will tell you about what activities and experiences your baby has enjoyed during the day.
- REQUESTED ITEMS
We would ask that parents kindly provide the following items:
- Milk feeds as required by your baby. You may prefer to supply a tin of formula milk with pre-sterilised bottles which can then be prepared by the practitioners as and when your baby requires a feed, alternatively you may provide a measured amount of powder for each feed that you bring with you on a daily basis. Please note that we follow the rule of disposal after one hour of use.
- Nappies and nappy cream. The nursery provides baby wipes but if your child has sensitive skin or you would like to provide your, please feel free to do so.
- Spare Clothing
- Outdoor Clothing
- Teething gel
- Any soothers/comfort items they may have
