Galaxy Room

The children in the Galaxy room reach milestones in the EYFS by working within the 'Curiosity Approach' and nuturing the child's individual characteristics of learning.

We enrich our environment by using real & authentic resources throughout our nursery. By providing the children with 'real equipment', we are encouraging them to embrace their curiosity about the object & its purpose.

We have two large & spacious rooms full of learning opportunities to engage the child in their learning, a real home corner with a doll's nursery, a hairdressers & beauty salon. A large construction area full of loose parts including real tools & equipment. An area to encourage children to care for other things with 'Sky' our snail, our fish Elvis & Norman and our numerous plants that we are growing and a whole room dedicated to inspiring creativity.

Our aim is to prepare our little people for the world of 'big school' by promoting 'school readiness by encouraging independence, self-care, social confidence and phonics through letters & sounds activities.
